Since business foundation in 1999 we are not merely focused on promoting the Xionet business development, but we are also concerned to meet the social responsibility resulting from the enterprising activity. Ever since, we have realised very diverse corporate responsibility activities. Currently we are engaged at the „networker NRW" and at the "Lichtblicke-Aktion" ("bright spots-activity").

networker NRW
The entrepreneur society networker NRW, registered society, was founded in July 2004 by the societies networker westfalen, registered society, (formerly mybird.de, registered society) and ruhr networker, registered society. With more than 300 enterprises it is the biggest IT-association in North Rhine-Westphalia. Primary goal of the society is the sustainable promotion and strengthening of the economic and scientific development in the field of information and communication economy in North Rhine-Westphalia and the pooling of efficiency and promotion of joint projects. Since July 2004, Xionet has been a member of this society.

Bright Spots Action of the Local Radios in NRW
The action bright spots, registered society, was created in 1998 and is a joint fund raising campaign of the Radio NRW Ltd., the association local Radio (VLR) and the clerical charity organisations Diakonie and Caritas (protestant and catholic charitable services) in North Rhine-Westphalia. Under the patronage of Angelika Rüttgers, the wife of the North Rhine-Westphalian Prime Minister, the fund raising campaign bright spots is destined to help distressed children and families in NRW quickly and unbureaucratically. Special consideration is shown to families who ran into desperate misery and urgently need financial support in order to cope with their everyday life. Since 2006 Xionet participates in this fundraising campaign.
