A40: From the exit "Bochum-Zentrum", follow the Herner Straße towards the centre. Then turn left to the Northern ring and follow its course. The Northern ring automatically turns into the Eastern ring. Please, follow the signs towards main station (Hauptbahnhof). At the junction in front of the main station on the right hand side there is the Massenbergstraße. There are good parking facilities in the underground parking Massenbergstraße.  

Alternatively you can take the A43 exit "Bochum Querenburg/Universität" towards university and follow the Universitätsstraße until the Southern ring/Kurt-Schumacher-Platz. Turn right to the Kurt-Schumacher-Platz. Pass the station and at the next traffic lights turn left into the underground parking Massenbergstraße.
